Been there forever no problem with food and service but pricey now

I've been going to Hunter's since I was a little kid. It's family-run, and the food is great. I think it's important to support local businesses, so I highly recommend this to anyone passing through or living in the area.

Overcharged us and manager argued with us about it. Will not be returning to this place, even though the food is delicious!

I'll definitely be returning, good portions, good value, fresh and perfectly prepared delicious food.

I love this place! Amazing Pizza and tasty souvlaki dinners. The hardest part sometimes is choosing what to eat. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. Today, I fed a team of 21 picky eaters and everyone was fully satisfied with their meals.I highly recommend Hunters to anyone passing through their area.

Quality food, great portions, amazing price. A definite hidden gem in this plaza full of other eats. Vibe is more on the family diner side. Don't let the name fool you, the pizza here is too notch

the feta on the greek salad was very mushy and the overall salad was soggy, This place is overpriced and the quality is not up to par with the prices. Will not be returning.

Great restaurant in Scarborough. This is the same family owned restaurant on Danforth in Greek town.

Amazing restaurant run by a cute older couple. I have been coming here for at least 15 years. Everything on the menu is tasty and home made. Their pizza is filling and the ingredients are fresh. The dough isn't too thick but still supports all the toppings. Very fair prices, a family of 4 can eat for around $10 per person.

This place dosen't look like much from the outside but you'll certainly find great value for money on the inside.I reckon the thing I appreciated the most about this joint was the price💲. Real Value for Money and very #budgetfriendlyI ordered a Chicken Souvlaki Dinner which came with a good portion of rice and potatoes as well as a plate of greek salad and a basket of toasted mozza-topped garlic bread.🥗The salad was a bit heavily dressed but still good and the rice and potatoes🥔 were served warm...and not the least bit dry. The Souvlaki 🍖was moist grilled strips of lightly seasoned chicken breast. The flavours were simple, the carbs were plentiful and I certainly left full.IG @ameliadoesdinner

Had a large pizza it was excellent also the hot Hamburger was delicious I highly recommend this place.

Good family run place that's been there for ages. Pizza is very good and Greek dishes are also quite good.

Had the Banquet Burger with Onion Rings... Mmmm, delicious. Onion rings were perfectly crispy and not over done. The burger was homemade and tasty and filling. Staff and atmosphere was great.

Ill get right to the point. Server never checked up on us. Atmosphere was outdated, the place smelled a little mouldy, the food was absolutely nothing to brag about. The pizza was ok I guess. Best part is that it's really cheap.

Fresh and delicious authentic Greek restaurant. Restaurant decor outdated and dark, but it is family-friendly. Reasonable prices for amount of food you get. Will be coming back!

The quality of this place has gone downhill significantly over the last year or so. We were very disappointed with their lunch. The salad was dripping in dressing, the feta portion on the Greek salad was very good, and I would have been most satisfied if there was not a hair in my portion. Thanks for that little extra. The sandwich had real bacon on it, but had fake cheese! What restaurant in today's competitive world uses KRAFT CHEESE SLICES? It ruined the sandwich! The potatoes were not cooked properly in the juices and had no flavour. The chicken souvlaki was more like a sliced chicken breast, not chunks of chicken like a typical souvlaki meal. We will not be returning to this establishment, there are plenty of mom&pop shops that serve much better quality food.

Very outdated and dark so looks dirty. No automatic door openers. No disabled washroom and the small washroom is down a narrow hall cluttered with boxes.Good service but food not so tasty. Pizza used to be excellent but they must have changed the cheese now. Parking is impossible due to busy Asian place in same mall. Students pop in for small takeouts at lunch making it a bit busy at that time.

The bruschetta bread was amazing! The lamb and chicken souvlaki were also really good, they were accompanied by a bit too much rice.

Excellent food... great value, awesome staff.... the take out food is always hot and fresh, and when we eat in it is a warm and family friendly restaurant.... Thank you George, Helen and all the staff for the excellent food and service....

Local favorite: family-run home style restaurant. Main Go-to's are the souvlaki's or pizza. Lamb is good.

Good place. Customer service is great, but can be pretty slow at times. Food is good. Portions aren't huge, but not terrible either. Prices are pretty decent. Overall not bad.

This is a neighbourhood favourite, for excellent reason! The food is always fresh, good quality and delicious. The service is the best. If you're in the area or want to try somewhere new in Scarborough, definitely check it out.

I've been going here for years with coworkers and wirh my kids unfortunately my break was burnt had a huge hole barely any garlic spread and no cheese...the other slices were the exact same burnt hardly any garlic spread and lack of cheese....it was take out so i couldn't complain about this till i got home. The food was also salty I asked my son and his was salty too. It was a waste of $45....sadly.

Been going to the Scarborough establishment for a few years. Hunter's is always a solid choice. Definitely try the moussaka if they have it.

The food here is flat out fantastic. It's not the most up to date looking restaurant but it has it's older rustic charm. Definitely a great place to bring your family! The hunter pizza is a little expensive, but it IS DEFINITELY one of the things to try while you're there. I believe it's family run and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's one of the places we try to bring our guests to when they come in from out of town.

Got the souvlaki pita combo for take out. Servings were very generous. There was 200g of grilled chicken, pita, and Greek salad. The Greeks salad came in a separate large container. There was so much chicken , the pita couldn’t wrap it. Excellent price for the large portions.

This is one of the best greek restaurants that I've ever been to. The chicken souvlaki is to die for. The salad is so fresh, the chicken is tasty and the homemade tzatziki is really good. The price is also really inexpensive. You must visit this place!

Hunter's is a neighbourhood institution, and with good reason. The food is reasonably priced, dependable, and delicious - from the heaping Greek salads drenched in feta cheese and homemade vinaigrette to their signature pizza. The veal parmigiana perched atop a pile of rich spaghetti and meat sauce as well as the tender souvlaki dinners are perennial favourites as well. Offering their full menu for takeaway as well as dine in, you really can't go wrong with a meal at Hunter's.

We ordered chicken souvlaki dinner and liver with onions and mashed potato.. it was great!!
